After having my daughter Bohdi in September 2015, I wanted to find a form of exercise to slowly ease my body back into the real world. I trained as a dancer when I was younger, so movement and flow was something I was used to and enjoyed doing to keep fit and mobile. As I grew older turned to weight training and running, which I still enjoyed doing both pre and post pregnancy.
The core strength and stability pilates gave me during my post natal classes encouraged me to not only rebalance and safely rebuild my body, but to start my pilates training and business. CorePilates offers private 1:1 and 2:1 classes in the North London Highgate studio or in the comfort of your own home. As well as a huge variety of online any time pilates classes: Beginner, mixed, pre and post natal, HIIT pilates and a work from home (WFH) mobility and stretch class. New to 2021 are corporate classes via zoom, tailor made to your employees.

I started pilates with Katy after a really bad back injury. Physio and other exercise regimes didn't make much progress, but once I started pilates the pain went and I felt much stronger. Alongside this I have become more flexible, and core strength has increased a lot.

'Katy is so clear and calm in her instructions, so is perfect if you're new to mat pilates like myself. Such a great way to start exercising after giving birth, especially to help bring awareness of what has happened to my stomach muscles and how to regain my strength and balance.'
Annicka Decarpentier - Online Post natal client
'I started Katy’s post-natal Pilates class when my baby was 10 weeks old. After six weeks I could feel the difference in my pelvic floor and core strength. Katy is a lovely teacher. She is kind and helpful with the babies, clear in her instructions and has designed a course which is perfect for those looking to regain strength after pregnancy.'

' I have limited flexibility ever since I began weight training a few years ago, which is why I contacted CorePilates for some help. Katy has so far given me a really detailed but simple introduction to Pilates, and I have seen an improvement in my flexibility and core stability after just a few sessions! I would highly recommend. 'My husband bought me some classes as a present and I loved it so much i'm still going a year later. Great doing the classes in my own home as its flexible around my work, and Katy is really friendly and relaxed'.

'I highly recommend the post natal course with Katy. I have just completed a 6 week course and have noticed such an improvement in my core and posture already. So much so, I've signed up to do more!'

'I tried CorePilates after recommendations from my brother and his wife. I'd done pilates before but I found this class amazingly different and challenging. I enjoy the focus on movement and range of movement of each exercise. Very pleased and it's super competitively priced as well. Well worth it!'

'Katy has really helped me gain confidence in returning to Pilates and exercise after having my daughter. Her classes have gradually progressed as my ability has improved and she is always on hand to assist with both the exercises and holding the baby so I can continue with the class!'
